The Guttenberg German Band

The Guttenberg German Band had its start in September 1989 when Father Paul Peters of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg wanted to have some local members of the church form a band for the annual fall polka mass, so began the start of the Guttenberg German Band. The band's size and popularity has increased with concerts and performances in the Tri-State Area, including polka masses, polka services, festivals, parades, celebrations, benefits for care centers & schools, and for various state and national conventions. The band has toured Austria and Germany in the fall of 2005 and will be touring there again in the fall of 2010.

Evening Headliner:

Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls

With a constant touring schedule, 3 independently released albums, a high energy live-show and a charismatic front-girl, Wicked Liz & the Bellyswirls have distinguished themselves as one of the mid-west's hardest working bands. They may hail from the Quad Cities, but they easily call a Dubuque stage a second home as they have a huge following in the area. We're not sure if you know anything German, but after a full day of polkas, we think you'll be ready for some great high-energy rock and roll. Click here to Visit Wicked Liz on Facebook!
